Purpose

This policy applies to all processing of personal data carried out by GSC Telecom and aims to inform the user about how GSC Telecom processes personal data (including details about the types of personal data collected and the purposes of processing) and about the user’s rights in relation to their personal data.

Identification of Processing – How do we collect personal data?

In accordance with applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, in particular the Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information (Law 25),

GSC Telecom collects personal data in its possession when the user:

  • Fills out forms on the website;
  • Subscribes to the newsletter;
  • Completes a printed form;
  • Sends an email or communicates by phone.

Personal Data Collected – What personal data do we collect?

GSC Telecom collects information when users visit its website, primarily when completing online forms.

The following data are collected:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Address

In general, when personal data are required to use a service or access certain content, providing such data will not be mandatory, except where it is specifically indicated that such data are required for the provision of the service. In such cases, the user may freely choose not to register and/or not to contract the services.

The user declares and guarantees that all data provided are true and accurate and undertakes to keep them up to date. Changes may be communicated to the Data Protection Officer or to the address indicated in the Contact section above.

Likewise, the user acknowledges that the data required by GSC Telecom are necessary, appropriate, and not excessive for the purposes stated, which could not be achieved without such data.

Any false or inaccurate statements resulting from the information and data provided, as well as any damages that such information may cause, shall be the responsibility of the user.

Purpose – What are the personal data we collect used for?

The personal data requested from the user will be used for the following purposes:

In the event of a service contract offered on the website, to create and maintain the business relationship and to carry out activities and provide GSC Telecom’s services (including, without limitation, management, administration, delivery, and improvement of services).

To send newsletters, as well as commercial communications, promotions, and/or advertising from GSC Telecom, either occasionally or periodically. Accordingly, the email address provided by the user when completing a form on the website may be used to send information and updates regarding service requests, as well as news about GSC Telecom (occasionally or periodically), updates, and information on related products or services. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in promoting our products and services.

  • To conduct surveys or organize contests.
  • To personalize the user experience, enhancing our ability to respond to user needs.
  • To improve the website and GSC Telecom’s service offerings, based on GSC Telecom’s legitimate interest in continuously improving its products and services.
  • To process transactions and comply with legal obligations to which GSC Telecom is subject, such as tax obligations.

The data processed will not be used for purposes other than those stated above that motivated their collection. Notwithstanding the foregoing, recorded data may also be used, in addition to the purposes for which they were expressly collected, for statistical purposes, incident management, or market studies.

However, if personal data are processed for purposes other than those initially specified at the time of collection, a compatibility analysis will be carried out by GSC Telecom in accordance with applicable regulations. Processing will only be authorized if the original purpose is compatible with the new purpose or if authorized under an independent legal basis. In such cases, the user will be informed of changes in purpose or of the legal justification for processing their data.

We remind users that they may object to receiving commercial communications (unsubscribe) and stop receiving emails from GSC Telecom by reliably informing GSC Telecom, which will process the request as soon as possible after receipt. To do so, users may send an email to the address indicated in the Contact section above, send a letter to the postal address indicated above, or follow the unsubscribe instructions included at the end of each GSC Telecom email.

How do we use your information?

We will use the information we collect about you for the following purposes:

If we wish to use your information for any other purpose, we will request your consent and will only use your information once consent has been granted and solely for the purpose(s) for which consent was given, unless otherwise required by law.

We will retain your personal information for an indefinite period after user accounts are no longer active or for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Consent

By providing personal data to GSC Telecom, the user declares that they fully and unreservedly accept their processing by GSC Telecom. The user hereby grants free, express, and informed consent to GSC Telecom to use the collected data for the purposes indicated in the Purpose section above, as well as their inclusion in databases/third-party applications used by GSC Telecom.

GSC Telecom processes user data on the following legal bases: (i) the conclusion of a service contract between the user and GSC Telecom, in accordance with the terms and conditions made available at the end of the service request form (prior to any engagement), which the user may accept by checking the corresponding box; and (ii) the user’s free, informed, and unequivocal consent, given after reviewing this Privacy Policy, by checking the corresponding box in the service request form.

Processing of data not covered by the legal bases above will be carried out if GSC Telecom deems it necessary to protect a legitimate interest and only if such processing does not infringe upon the fundamental rights and freedoms of the user.

Retention – How long do we keep your data?

Data will be destroyed or archived when it is no longer strictly necessary or relevant for the purposes detailed in the Purpose section above. In particular, personal data will be retained for as long as the business relationship remains in force (and to the extent that the user has not previously requested its deletion) and for the period during which obligations, indemnities, and/or liabilities may arise in connection with the business relationship or the services provided.
GSC Telecom informs that it will retain essential information to identify the origin of the stored data for the duration of the customer relationship with GSC Telecom and/or until the revocation of the user’s consent, in accordance with the information contained in the Consent section of this Privacy Policy and/or for the period required by applicable law.

Confidentiality / Assignment / International Transfer – Do we disclose data to third parties?

GSC Telecom will keep the collected personal data private and strictly confidential and will not use it for purposes other than those established in the Purpose section above. GSC Telecom requires the execution of confidentiality and personal data processing agreements by its employees and by third parties that provide services and have access to database content (or includes such obligations in the service agreements it enters into with such providers, as indicated in the following paragraph).

The user’s personal data collected by GSC Telecom will not be transferred, sold, exchanged, transmitted, and/or disclosed to third parties outside GSC Telecom without the user’s consent, except where required by law and/or for the purpose of providing services to the user. This does not include certain employees and service providers who enable GSC Telecom to keep the website operational, comply with the purposes set out in the Purpose section above, and/or provide services to the user, and who have undertaken the obligation to maintain the confidentiality of the data provided and to comply with applicable personal data protection regulations at the time of engagement.

Contracts with service providers specify the purpose, scope, content, duration, nature, and objective of data processing, the type of personal data, the categories of data subjects, and the obligations and responsibilities of GSC Telecom and the contractual third parties.

In particular, GSC Telecom may share the personal information provided with its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies, and/or intermediaries connected to GSC Telecom.

GSC Telecom may share certain personal information provided by the user internally within GSC Telecom, with specific departments such as administration, marketing, or IT.

Social networks. GSC Telecom also uses social networks such as Facebook or Instagram and has integrated features from these networks into its services. The user may only use these social networks to the extent that they are registered and logged into the corresponding social network with their user account. These social networks have their own privacy policies and terms and conditions, over which GSC Telecom has no control or influence.

Finally, the user should be aware that GSC Telecom may (and reserves the right to) disclose information in the following cases:

  • (i) if required by a judicial or administrative authority;
  • (ii) if necessary to exercise its rights under GSC Telecom’s Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy;
  • (iii) if necessary to comply with the law;
  • (iv) if such data may be useful for the protection of third-party rights;
  • (v) when useful for the protection of the rights, property, or safety of GSC Telecom, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, users, or the general public; and
  • (vi) when there are well-founded reasons relating to public security, national defense, or public health.

Security – How do we ensure data security?

GSC Telecom states its intention to adopt the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of data in accordance with the provisions of the Act to modernize legislative provisions respecting the protection of personal information (Law 25), in order to prevent alteration, loss, unauthorized access, or unauthorized processing.

GSC Telecom does not guarantee absolute privacy in the use of the website, as it cannot be ruled out that unauthorized third parties may gain access. The user acknowledges that existing technical security measures are not infallible and that, even when all reasonable security precautions are taken, manipulation, destruction, and/or loss of information may occur.
In the event of the detection of a security incident involving a significant risk to the data subject, such an event will be promptly communicated to the competent supervisory authority, together with the corrective and mitigating measures implemented and/or to be implemented.

GSC Telecom is not responsible for the loss or deletion of data by users. Likewise, GSC Telecom accepts no liability for any damage caused by computer viruses.

Finally, the user must also take measures to protect their information. GSC Telecom strongly encourages users to take all necessary precautions to protect their personal information while using the Internet. At a minimum, users are advised to change their password periodically using a combination of letters and numbers and to ensure that they use a secure browser.

Data Subject Rights and Procedures for Exercising Them – What rights do I have as a data subject?

The user, as the data subject, may at any time exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, restriction of processing, portability, confidentiality, and deletion with respect to their personal data, in accordance with the provisions of the Act to modernize legislative provisions respecting the protection of personal information (Law 25).

These rights may be exercised by the user by email at info@gsctelecom.com, or by written communication addressed to the Data Protection Officer at the same address, or by any of the means provided for under the applicable regulations mentioned above. GSC Telecom may request the information necessary to verify the identity of the data subject.

The deletion of certain data will not be carried out when it could cause harm to the rights or legitimate interests of third parties or when there is a legal obligation to retain the data.

Training – Do we provide training?

GSC Telecom personnel whose duties are related to the processing of personal data receive training to ensure better protection of personal data and the rights of data subjects.

Third-Party Links – Does our website contain links to other sites?

The website may contain links to third-party sites, with or without advertising content, whose privacy policies are independent of GSC Telecom. Linked sites are not affiliated with GSC Telecom, and their existence does not imply any suggestion, invitation, or recommendation to visit the destination sites, nor any link or association between GSC Telecom and such sites. GSC Telecom is not responsible or liable for the content, use, or activities of these linked sites, nor for any damages—whether actual or potential, material or moral, direct or indirect—suffered by users and arising from the information contained on such sites or from the relationship that users may establish with third parties whose services are published on the website. Nevertheless, any comments regarding these linked sites will be useful to GSC Telecom in order to improve its services and/or ensure the integrity of the website. GSC Telecom undertakes to do everything possible to prevent the existence on its website of links to sites containing illegal content.

Cookies – Do we use cookies?

When the user accesses the website, GSC Telecom may store information on the user’s computer in the form of a “cookie” or a similar file. The website uses cookies to: (i) track advertising, (ii) collect website traffic data, and (iii) improve the user experience when using the website.

Users should be aware that authorization for the installation of cookies sent by the website is not required to browse the site. This may only be required for certain services. Users may delete cookies from their hard drive, prevent access to their computer through their browser, or select the appropriate option when prompted about the use of cookies for these purposes, in accordance with GSC Telecom’s cookie policy.

Approval

Use of the website by the user implies full knowledge and acceptance of GSC Telecom’s Privacy Policy and, where applicable, GSC Telecom’s Terms and Conditions. Likewise, the user accepts GSC Telecom’s Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions by completing a service request.

Amendments – Is this the most recent version?

This is the current version of GSC Telecom’s Privacy Policy, updated on February 1, 2026.

GSC Telecom may modify this Privacy Policy at any time and without prior notice. Such modifications will take effect upon publication on the website or when they are communicated to users by any means, whichever occurs first. Users are encouraged to periodically review the terms contained herein.
